1. Travel Insurance and Assumption of Risk

Guests are solely responsible for obtaining comprehensive travel insurance that adequately covers all activities undertaken during the tour, including skiing and snowboarding. These activities involve inherent risks. Hokkapow accepts no liability for personal injury, emergency evacuation, medical treatment, or associated costs incurred during the tour.

2. Travel Documentation and Entry Requirements

Guests are responsible for arranging their own flights, visas, and all required travel documentation. Hokkapow accepts no responsibility for any losses, costs, or damages incurred as a result of a guest being denied entry into the destination country.

3. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to behave in a respectful and cooperative manner toward fellow participants and Hokkapow representatives. Hokkapow reserves the right to terminate a guest’s participation in the tour without refund in the event of inappropriate conduct, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or other abusive behaviour.

4. Booking and Payment Terms

A deposit of ¥50,000 is required to secure a booking and receive confirmation. Full payment must be made no later than 10 November. For bookings made after 10 November, full payment is required at the time of booking prior to confirmation.

5. Force Majeure

Hokkapow shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations where such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government-imposed travel restrictions. In such cases, Hokkapow reserves the right to modify itineraries or cancel tours. Where a tour is cancelled and no alternative arrangement can be agreed upon, a full refund will be issued.

6. Liability for Incidental Expenses

Hokkapow shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential expenses incurred by guests, including but not limited to flights, visas, transfers, or other personal travel arrangements.

7. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within 7 days of the tour commencement date will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the total tour price.

Cancellations made between 8 and 44 days prior to the tour commencement date will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the total tour price.

Cancellations made within 45 days prior to the tour commencement date will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

8. Itinerary Changes

Hokkapow reserves the right to cancel or amend tour itineraries at its discretion. If group numbers are not met reallocation may be necessary. Operations may be affected by weather conditions, road access, and resort conditions. All reasonable efforts will be made to deliver a safe, enjoyable, and high-quality experience.
